2023 Spring Workshops!

Did you know that your SHS membership not only gets you excellent discounts to our business partners, but also free enrolment in gardening workshops? This spring we have two exciting workshops planned for our members! As always, non-members can also sign up for $10. Email info@saskatoonhortsociety.ca to sign up for either (or both!) workshop. There will also be a signup sheet at our Gardenscape booth (March 24-26, Prairieland Park.)

The first workshop will be held on March 29, at 7:00pm over Zoom. Join the owners of Bergamot & Basil Specialty Herbs to learn all about starting your garden from scratch using seeds and cuttings. Note that this is a different workshop from what Bergamot & Basil presented last year. Just in time to start your tomato seedlings! More information can be found in the promotional graphics below.

The second workshop will be held in-person at Sherbrooke Community Centre during the morning of May 13. Learn how to prune your shrubs and fruit trees with confidence from Robin Adair, ISA Certified Arborist. This workshop includes both classroom and hands-on practical components.
